Ms.Papel's Trip to Reptilia

Yesterday I went to visit Reptilia to learn about the special guests we will have in our classroom for the next 5 months! They will be delivered by Reptilia over the next few weeks! In the meantime, we are going to prepare and begin our research on leopard geckos. If your child does any research at home or at the public library over the next few weeks, they are more than welcome to share their learning at school or on the blog! :)

Social Studies Project!
Over the next few weeks we will be working on social studies projects.
The grade one students will be exploring rules and responsibilities at school, home and our community.
The grade two students will be creating a three generation family tree.
I will be providing students with a template to start the family tree. Today's homework was to simply ask questions. (Where was grandma born? Was she born in Canada?, etc.)

More information about the project will be posted on the blog by the end of the week! :)
